Ann Coulter

I...um...hmmmm....she should...

...

Okay. She's a blonde. This doesn't help blondes everywhere.

Likewise, she's (presumably) a woman. And (presumably) wants women to be taken seriously...or at least herself to be taken seriously...in the political public eye. And...she pulls something like this?

Hmmm....well it wasn't the most intelligent thing she could have done, now is it?

digg: 2008 Presidential Candidates- With info about each one

From digg:
The 2008 presidential race is expected to be the first in decades that won't include a sitting president or vice president in the field of candidates vying for the White House. A large group of contenders are already putting together campaign operations and visiting the early primary states.

digg: Obama closing in on Hillary

From digg:
Sen. Barack Obama now trails Sen. Hillary Clinton by eight percentage points, while former NY Mayor Guiliani leads Sen. McCain by nine. Most surprising finding: apparently, 97% of Americans know enough about Hillary Clinton to have a strong opinion on her. How surprising!

From Jer:
Take this all with a grain of salt. I post it because it offers an insight to what people are thinking right now. But remember that there's roughly 20 months until the election, and both opinions and the political situation will change dramatically.

For example, last time I checked, Hillary hasn't even filed with the FEC(Federal Elections Commission), she's only formed an exploratory committee. Yes...she probably will officially throw her hat in the ring over the next couple months. Hell, she announced in January that she's going to run in 2008.

The point is, to quote the article, "For the most part, the political polls don't mean much now," said Scott Keeter, of the Pew Research Center for the People & the Press. "But political junkies have an endless appetite for them. People are looking for some kind of evidence of how things are going to turn out."

I guess the real point of me posting things like this...for I hope to post more of them...is to keep myself educated as to what's going on in the politics of the homeland.]
